Regulations of
"Baltic Games" freestyle rolling contest

II. Place and the date
The contest will take place in special skatepark prepared excusively for the Music and Extreme Sports festival 'Baltic Games'
III. Participation rules
Everybody who is older than 12, with up-to-date medical examinations which allows one to take part in such contest or signed statement (available to download here or during the registrations) which affirms the good health condition and taking full responsibility for one's actions.
Attention!
If the person is under-aged, it is required to have a written permission of legal tutor. The permission form can be downloaded here or it is possible to get one during the registartion.
The skate equipment used by a competitor should be in perfect condition and should meet the regulations of the contest.
IV. Participation rules
'Baltic Games' championship will be divided into two categories:
Amateur: riders without any sponsors (above 12 years of age)
Pro: riders above 16 years of age, with sponsors and titles
The planned form of the comp is JAM.
Jam is open form of contest where riders are divided into 10 people groups and are given 7 minute-elimination runs. The win will go to the rider who gets the highest notes for:
- landed tricks
- consistency and fluency
- creativity and using the whole course
During the comp ther will be a Best trick event.
Riders are given three attempts to perform their own individual, single trick. Judges will score each landed trick and pick up a winner.
V. Submissions
Submissions will be accepted on friday 08.08.08 - the first day of the contest from 15:00 AM, at the Skatepark office, prepared exclusively for the Music and Extreme Sports festival 'Baltic Games' and online at www.rollfest.pl
VI. Entry fee
Amateurs – 10 zł
Pro – 20 zl
VII. Prizes
The top three riders from each category and the Best trick Contest winner will be rewarded with great money and other prizes.
VIII. Rules at the park
- Every participant should behave, skate in a way that do not disturb other participants.
- Participants should listen to the dispositions of the Police, Fire-Brigade or the host speaker.
- In order to ensure safety, the auditoires should listen to the dispositions of the Police and Staff workers and take the right places.
- All entrances and fire-exits have to be clear all the time.
IX. Prohibitions
It is forbidden to bring the following to the skatepark:
- weapons of all kind
- other dangerous tools
- explosive materials
- alcohol of any kind
- psychotropic agents and other drugs
X. Final arrangements
- each participant is fully insured
- each oarticipant should have an ID card
- all sport arguments are solved by judges and the organiser
- The organiser owns the right to interpret those regulations
